Summary
Pedagogical support in educational work is a continuous training strategy that aims to improve pedagogical processes in the performance of teachers and student learning. The objective of the research was to analyze the experiences of pedagogical support at the Liceos Onésimo Jiménez and Politécnico Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes in Santiago de los Caballeros, year 2022-2023 to determine the type of teaching support, identify the changes it generates and the level of satisfaction. The methodology used responds to the non-experimental and descriptive quantitative approach. The technique used was the survey and the instrument for data collection was the ad hoc questionnaire. The results were: the type of pedagogical support is formative and is decided by institutional policy; generates changes for improvement in pedagogical components, helps in classroom management, self-assessment, decision making, student learning, quality of work and student participation and integration, and the techniques and instruments of class observation, review planning, rubric or checklist and observation sheet are essential to achieve accompaniment and the majority of teachers fully agree that they feel emotionally safe and motivated after being accompanied.
